Sale of holiday items will help stem human trafficking

Mustangs home for Blaze Orange Night

SPOONER-- The Wisconsin Mustangs entertained their neighbors to the north, the Thunder Bay Wolverines, during the weekend and dropped two non-league games at the Northwest Sports Complex in Spooner. They rebounded nicely, however, to defeat the Maple Grove Wildcats back in Minnesota Junior Hockey League action.

DNR says hunters can expect fewer deer this season

According to the Department of Natural Resources, when the 2009 Wisconsin gun deer season opens on Saturday morning, Nov. 21, hunters probably should expect to find fewer deer afield. This may come as no surprise to hunters who have since last season been saying that they have not been seeing deer.
