Teachers from the Spooner School District worked alongside their students Wednesday night, Nov. 4, at the McDonald’s Restaurant in Spooner. The teachers rotated in short shifts between the counter, fries, drive-up windows, and of course, making Big Macs.
Sale of holiday items will help stem human trafficking
To help support World Hope’s Anti-Trafficking Program, lush, hand-crafted wreaths, swags, crafts, and sweets will be sold at three area locations, with the holiday items crafted by 23 members of the local Schmitz family and all proceeds going to World Hope.

Target groups for H1N1 vaccine have expanded as of Friday, Nov. 20, to include all persons 6 months through age 24.
